Stackers...
Let me start out by saying we were there to see the 3D version of 'The Lion King', but thanks to some maniacal cross promoting mastermind, the movie theater was at the mall. Now add to that the strange alchemy that makes small pieces of plastic turn into magnets for any child in a 1 mile radius and 'The Lion King' was suddenly just our first stop on the tour. The Lego Store was a true highlight; bazillions of tiny little pieces of plastic that drew my 9 year old in faster than I could say, well, anything. I am still trying to recover from the $299 price tag on the 'totally amazing and absolutely necessary' big box of rattling pieces. It is good to know that when his mother started to choke after one glance at the price tag, my child had the good sense to step away from the box. $20 dollars and a Harry Potter Quidditch set later we were off. All in all, a good day. October 1st
