Alien Shop of Horrors...

I told you that the aftermath of the rhododendrons wasn’t pretty. The flowers are gorgeous but what they leave behind is a bit gruesome.  It is suggested you ‘dead head’ them to get more uniform growth… I think it is because the aftermath doesn’t look so pretty. A little like Alien Abduction meets Little Shop of Horrors, don’t you think?  June 8th

Pretty in pink...

These are so beautiful and the last of my rhododendrons. The reds, whites, and purples have come and gone but the pinks just came out to play. They are so beautiful now but I think I will have to do a post on what they look like when they are finished showing off their colors: not so pretty. It is definitely worth it, though, for this show of color. June 3rd
